Whether to masturbate or not ?

This is the most important question comes in our mind when we are on " Pornography and Masturbation withdrawal " . 
To avoid masturbation is really tough and this situation needs will power , main thing is dont let your brain control you , its the part of your soul so control it.

During withdrawal sometimes our brain suddenly gets divert towards porn and when we tries to avoid , the images of porn movies start coming in our mind and ultimately the guy relapse . So, that movement is very crucial " whether to masturbate or not ?" a big question .

Tips for this situation are -
1). Start walking in your house from one room to another and try to divert your mind.
2). Go and talk to your family memebers or call your friends to divert your mind.
3).  Drink water 1-2 glass.
4). Avoid resting or sitting during urge to masturbate.
5). Close your eyes and take deep breaths when you are at risk of relapsing.

These tips helped me a lot and today i am 9 months 13 days clean . Dont waste your life in masturbation and in my below post there are important diet tips and supplements .

How to control wet dreams or night falls during masturbation withdrawal

Controlling wet dreams is very important when you are on masturbation withdrawal because wet dreams can spoil your recovery . Wet dreams during masturbation withdrawal are not normal , actually they are the result of too much  Prostaglandin E2 ( cause inflammation and responsible for body pains and all eye related problem during withdrawal and it also causes prostate cancer in chronic cases ) released in our body after every ejaculation. 

To control wet dreams - 


1). Workout -  You can control wet dreams by doing exercises daily.

2). Avoid over-eating and crash diets - Take balance diet and avoid heavy meals . Eat whatever you like but in small quantity .  Urge to over eat is the worse symtom of masturbation withdrawal , actually our stomach is full but still our mind keeps telling us we want more. 
So, avoid over-eating and eat slowly and take your time to chew your food properly.

3). Drink lots and lots of water - Drink atleast 18-20 glasses of a day.

4). Turmeric water - Drink hot turmeric water after waking up in the morning because turmeric inhibits release of Prostaglandin E2 and its a natural antibiotic.

Avoid Treatment or Anti-depressants for masturbation withdrawal symtoms

Guys don't take any treatment and anti-depressants during withdrawal period because as my urologist said anti-depression drugs lead to excessive chronic prolactin production and excessive prolactin in the bloodstream reduces the testosterone and DHT release from the testicles, resulting in bone and muscle weakness .

Its better to heal yourself naturally by doing exercises and eating healthy and balanced diet . Acc. to me anti-depressants messed up my mind and suddenly increased my urge to masturbate , even my mind became foggy and i became very dull and atlast i end up masturbating 3-4 times on 5th day of my treatment . 

My urologist said if you are on anti-depressants during masturbation withdrawal, avoid masturbation because this can be extremely harmful and may lead to irreversible damage and a weak dopaminergic function will result in heightened pituitary release of prolactin and can block oxytocin release which can disable sexual function completely. 

In my case anti-depressants increased semen leakage ( Semen contains prostaglandins, proteins, minerals, vitamins, testosterone, insulin-like growth factor I, alpha2-macroglobulin, and human growth hormone ) and increased abstinence.

Avoid sex when you are on porn and masturbation withdrawal

On 24th day of my porn and masturbation withdrawal , i did sexual intercourse with my girlfriend and i thought sex will cure damage from porn and masturbation addiction but i was wrong , on next morning i again felt abstinence ,  little bit depression , anxiety , foggy mind , lack of motivation etc. 


NOTE - Having orgasms during withdrawal is like spoiling your recovery , acc. to me kissing ,undressing , romance , touching ,will help you in recover from porn and masturbation addiction because your brain is addicted to screen sex not to girl's touch. So,  foreplay is the best way to take yourself out from porn and masturbation life.

Now again i was on recovery,on 11th day i did only kissing and touching with my girlfriend and that day i felt very happy , clear mind , no depression , reduction in stress , little bit self confidence and next day i was feeling little bit more better. And foreplay with my girlfriend helped me a lot in recovery and today i am 6 months clean.

Basically your mind needs rest from rough porn and masturbation and actually it needs physical contact with a girl. 

Many guys think that there is no difference between masturbation and sex but there is difference like in sex a guy gain erection from physical contact with his partner and in masturbation guy watch porn and then ejaculate in which our mind is working not our body.

Masturbation addiction after Marijuana withdrawal

When i was addicted to pornography and masturbation i was used to search about this addiction on internet and i read on many forums that guys got addicted to pornography and masturbation after marijuana withdrawal. 
These days i am researching about masturbation addiction for my blog.So, today i met someone and he told me that he left smoking marijuana blah blah and then i asked him....

Me- what problems u faced after quitting marijuana ? " ..
He - depression , anxiety and all those common problem after every drug withdrawal but then he said "my mind got attracted toward something else after quitting and i am still experiencing marijuana withdrawal after 8 months"

Me - Attracted towards what ?
He - said nothing.

Me - is it masturbation  ?
He -  was shocked , are you also facing this ?

Me- Not now but i was and how you come to know that you are addicted to masturbation ?
He - When i stopped smoking marijuana i faced its withdrawal and during that time i masturbate while watching porn and after 16 days i started feeling better and on 20th day i was watching porn and then i masturbated and i slept and in next morning my marijuana withdrawal symtoms came back but after 5 days i started feeling better and then i masturbated and this time also my marijuana withdrawal symtoms came back and i was shocked why this is happening .Again this thing happend and i understood that whenever i masturbate my withdrawals come back.So, i decided not to masturbate and then i didnt masturbate for 1 week but then i lost my control and i masturbated and again depression came back then again and again i relapsed and i was unsuccessful to stop masturbation .After 3 months i noticed i am not feeling normal when i was not masturbating like feeling depression and my mind totally diverted towards porn and masturbation and still i am facing problem . I smoked marijuana for long time and often i masturbated after smoking.

Me- means you got too much addicted for porn and masturbation after quitting marijuana ?
He - yes, like my brain found out something to maintain level of pleasure from masturbation.

Me- So, you are addicted to pornography and masturbation not marijuana ?
He- yes and i am suffering from erectile dysfuntion after quitting marijuana and few days before i went for checkup and Urologist said that masturbation after drugs is extremely destructive thats why you noticed problems of erctile dysfunction after quitting marijuana.

Me - Masturbation after smoking marijuana causes ED ?
He - yes acc. to that urologist and in my case i got addicted to porn and masturbation after quitting marijuna.

So, i researched about this and my conclusion is yes you can get addicted to porn and masturbation after quitting marijuana and masturbation after drugs is seriously very harmful for nervous system  and sexual life so, avoid masturbation after drugs.

Masturbation is a very common habit and healthy activity but it is harmful when we masturbate too much while watching porn or we over do it and a time comes(after 4-5 years) when you get addicted to it and then the problems starts.
Masturbation while watching porn is a addiction and its really harmful but when we realize this , we already did lot of damage to our brain and when person tries to leave this bad habit then he starts experiencing masturbation withdrawal symtoms and these symtoms are same as withdrawal symptoms of cocaine, alcohol and heroin.

Symtoms i experienced were -

7. Urge to over-eat

8. Mood Swings

13. Pre-ejaculation Fluid, Semen Leakage, and Sexual Stimulation

14. Persistent Sexual Arousal Syndrome

15. Erectile dysfunction

16. Flashbacks

17. Nausea

Healthy Ejaculation Frequency

The suggested ejaculation frequency (masturbation) according to doctors is:


  • 5-6 times per week for teenagers of age 16-19.
  • 3-4 times per week for young men of age 20-25.
  • 2-3 times per week for young men of age 25-30.
  • 1-2 times per week for men of age 30-45,
  • no more than 1 time per week for men after 45.

Increase in hairfall - From my personal expirience yes masturbation cause hairfall.If someone have heredity problem it will worsen the situation because after an ejaculation, the body triggers a testosterone to DHT conversion in the prostate and testicles. And years of excessive masturbation will result in an enormous DHT buildup that damages hair follicles and their roots.

Stopping masturbation is hardest job and it will become possible after many relapses , but person needs proper mind set and positive thinking that he can quit this. I relapsed many times in 15 months period but atlast i quit watching porn and masturbation.
There are some tips -

1). Staying busy and focused -

Spend time with your friends , playing outdoor and indoor sports , read novels ,watch comedy shows and movies,  learn how to play guitar and do anything in which you have interest.

2). Girlfriend -
Being in serious relationship can help you in diverting your mind from porn and masturbation.

3). Stop watching porn -

Porn and erotic movies can create urge to masturbate. So, avoid watching porn.

4). Getting in the Right Mindset - 

Make yourself mentally ready for this and stop punishing yourself by self-abuse and follow above recovery steps to come out from this addiction.
